Understanding Your Cognitive Functioning
A cognitive assessment helps you gain insight into your intellectual and cognitive abilities. You will receive a detailed report that includes your results, IQ score, and personalised recommendations for future support.

When to Consider an IQ/Cognitive Assessment
The Intelligence Quotient (IQ) test, primarily conducted using the Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale (WAIS-IV), is designed to measure the intellectual functioning of individuals aged 16-90 years. This standardised test provides a comprehensive overview of an individual’s cognitive abilities, including strengths and potential challenges and an IQ score.
Tools We Use:
-
WAIS-IV: Provides an estimate of general intellectual functioning (IQ score).
-
Vineland Assessment: Evaluates daily living skills and adaptive behaviour.
-
WHODAS 2.0: Assesses overall health and disability.

These tools, when used together, offer a thorough understanding of cognitive and daily functioning, supporting the diagnosis of intellectual disabilities if needed.
